Content Marketing Executive
Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, rebellious and entrepreneurial-minded digital marketing executive to join a fast-growing, and uniquely innovative cybersecurity technology company. The company is creating a new category for cyber security by focusing on an Intelligence-led Defense having designed and created a market leading patented Cyber Threat Intelligence solution. They have recently established a new operation in Galway to grow and service the EU market and contribute to global marketing initiatives.
This role will join the recently appointed Chief Marketing Officer at an exciting time as they establish and grow the marketing and sales function in Galway.
They are looking for a bold content savvy marketing professional. You should be just as comfortable writing and wordsmithing copy, as you are guiding the creation and creative use of podcasts and videos and distributing it all to the right audiences.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU:
- Create written content for blog posts, case studies, website, email, videos, online events, podcasts and more
- Create short-form copy for social (Twitter, LinkedIn) and contribute to the overall social strategy
- Manage and develop educational media content for specific audiences and campaigns - including video and podcasts
- Analyze and optimize descriptions, titles, and landing pages for SEO and online engagement
- Build and execute distribution plan
- Use data to drive decision-making throughout the content lifecycle, and report on performance
WHAT WE LOVE TO SEE:
- Bachelor’s degree/master's in marketing, communications, eCommerce or similar
- 2+ years experience in a digital or content marketing role in B2B (experience in IT and/or cybersecurity will be a distinct advantage)
- A strong understanding of social media channels and optimisation
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communicator and storyteller
- Experience in building content campaigns
- Comfortable with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot preferred), WordPress and content editing tools
- A rebellious spirit with a desire to be part of something special
