Join a newly created R&D team with a global MNC tasked with building a large-scale, enterprise-ready platform that will power a hybrid edge-to-cloud suite of services.

This innovative cloud stack will drive transformation across data, connectivity, and security and offers you the chance to apply your creative skills to contribute to architecting and building this enterprise platform.

Your role will be to help define and refine requirements and lead the implementation of a zero-trust security architecture across the Edge to Cloud platform.

Specifically, your focus will be on building out the operational side of implementing and maintaining the Cloud Platform. Your focus will be on investing in solutions and implementing automation to better secure processes and environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and designing security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Developing security integration to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions.
  • Designing action plans for system hardening, security monitoring, incident response, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible software designs and best practices for DevSecOps.
  • Working with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in products.

The Cloud Platform development uses a suite of contemporary technologies typically of any large native cloud development. we are looking for any mix of the follow:

  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP integrating technologies and tools.
  • Experience with security configurations in Public Cloud contexts.
  • Experienced managing infrastructure as code, both on-prem and cloud-based.
  • Experienced with public cloud services: EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront.
  • Experienced with container and orchestration technologies docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Experienced with software development languages GoLang, Python or Java
  • Scripting/ automation experience, preferably with Python
  • Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
  • Experience with DevSecOps designs and secure pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
  • Experienced Linux development background
  • Experienced with microservices architectures and REST APIs

What you’ll need:

  • M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native development
  • 6+ years experience as a software developer
  • System thinking skills
  • Working experience with CI/CD, open source cloud development tools
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Willingness to work with teams across time zones
