About the Role
As a Data Scientist you’ll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to optimize processes, inform key decisions, and uncover actionable insights that enhance the development and manufacturing of life-changing medical devices. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with teams to understand project goals and identify data-driven solutions.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to uncover automation and analytics opportunities.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize processes.
- Create impactful visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in technical and non-technical settings.
- Continuously refine and improve the performance of data models and algorithms.
- Stay updated on advancements in data science, machine learning, and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years with a Level 8 degree or 2+ years with a Level 9 degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in additional languages like R, or Java.
- Visualization Expertise: Familiarity with tools like Qlik, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or similar.
- Machine Learning Proficiency: Hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- LLM Expertise: Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and frameworks (e.g., GPT, Bard, LangChain).
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Database Management: Strong understanding of database systems and version control tools like Git.
