Based in Galway this company is about to grow out a new global DevOps team and is looking for creative engineers to join a team working on their class leading cloud-based platform.
This new team will be tasked with delivering a fully automated deployment solution across multiple cloud platforms.
As the successful candidate, you would be working with development teams across the globe to design, develop, test and support highly reliable software systems designed to run in multiple cloud environments.
What we would love to see from you:
A passion for:
- Delivering highly reliable deployment infrastructure
- Automating every step in the deployment process, including pre/post checking
- Creating dashboards/alerts for understanding R&D and production deployments
- A background in software development or infrastructure or QA
- Experience leveraging public clouds: AWS or Azure
- At least 3 years’ experience in DevOps background within a public cloud environment
- Experience with developing automated deployments in at least one cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience crafting reliable deployment solutions
- Knowledge in automated unit testing, ideally integrated within a check-in/build/test process required.
- Chef and Ruby experience will put you over the top!
Strongly desirable (nice to have)
- Knowledge of networking within a cloud environment (DNS, firewalls, etc)
- Experience working in Agile development organizations
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments
- Experience with the Atlassian toolchain (Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git, Zephyr)
- Experience with alerting/monitoring cloud software with tools like Datadog, Sumologic, Splunk
- Experience with deployment automation (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Technical experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration frameworks
- Experience delivering containerized software (Docker)
