In order to continue its success and growth, the company is establishing a significant software R&D centre here in Galway.
This new team will be tasked with tackling core technology challenges that are critical to the company's success and will also be given the opportunity to influence the next generation of services and technology in order to drive the company forward.
The goal of this new centre will be to enable the company to expand its engineering, product development, and Data Science footprint and as this is a greenfield site you will have ample opportunity to grow your career.
What you will be doing:
Creativity is the key word here.
While you'll be looking at the architecture and design involved in building applications that support massive user bases, you will always open to learning more and working with a team to try new approaches and iterations on your features and products.
Your solutions will touch every part of the business so you would be involved in;
- All aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
- Collaborating with designers and other teams to refine product features and brainstorm ideas
- Working with business stakeholders to identify software solutions to business challenges.
What we would love to see from you:
- 4 - 5 + years of professional full stack development experience and a high level of comfort with Javascript/React/Redux/Java/Linux/MySQL, SQL
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional development team
- A willingness to cross-train into new technologies (we are happy to train you so are not fussed on the backend coding language you are already skilled with )
