Key Responsibilities include:
- Making applications for our global customer base
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
- Complex problem solving and troubleshooting
Skills – What we need you to bring to the table
- Degree in Computer Science/IT preferred but not essential
- At least 2 years’ experience in one of PHP, Perl, C++
- Strive to write high quality, stable and easily maintainable code
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Good understanding of writing Unit Tests
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team in addition to working remotely
Skills that make you stand out
- Good understanding of authentication mechanisms
- Good Unix shell scripting knowledge
- General understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices
- Usage of DevOps tools and CI/CD for automation
- Experience with Docker and Cloud tech stacks like AWS/Azure/K8S
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience developing applications using Laravel framework is an advantage
