Unique opportunity to join a Galway based company that has secured significant investment to fund their global expansion plans.  The current team has developed a leading-edge strategic planning SaaS Platform that enables simple, fast, and cost-effective strategy development, complex scenario modelling and enterprise transformation and have been recognised by Gartner and Forrester as a key vendor in this area. They currently have over 500 clients across 25 countries and with this investment are poised for considerable expansion and growth. As part of their growth plans, they are looking for an ambitious QA Engineer who will;

  • Modify, develop, and implement QA testing procedures
  • Work with the Agile development team focused on delivering high quality, tested code.
  • Execute test cases and analyse results
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Understand the product requirements; envision stakeholder requirements to transform these to use cases and create test plans.
  • Deliver new software applications iteratively as part of an agile/scrum development life-cycle
  • Identify and implement areas for continuous process improvement

 

 

WHAT WE LOVE TO SEE:

  • 3+ years of software testing experience
  • Previous experience in testing B2B SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of how to execute complex test cases/scripts and ability to interpret/analyze results to report, communicate, and work through issues with software engineers, perform investigation and troubleshooting activities.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis, perform an in-depth analysis of the requirement and specifications to create test cases
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually, setting priorities on your own
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of software testing concepts within the software development lifecycle

 

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in Requirement/Specification analysis, test case design and development, test execution (black box and white box), and defect reporting
  • Experience using Test Management tools and processes
  • Working understanding of test automation and desire to be involved in that
