Responsibilities
- Perform a software development role to deliver well-designed and tested development tasks.
- Efficiently deliver quality solutions utilizing modern software development practices, through common architectures, comprehensive unit testing and pipeline automation of deployments and releases.
- Support the definition of code, test, and release pipeline best practices across team to create highly scalable and robust technology products.
- Support the creation of application platform that is highly available. Incorporate monitoring and observability capability using open standards such as OTEL.
- Support breakdown of user stories into tech tasks. Work closely with developers to ensure the technical ‘ask’ is clear.
- Support tech team and peers in sprint delivery, supporting the team to meet technical commitments by removing technical roadblocks. Support autonomy and responsibility led culture.
- Support the architecture and implementation of robust and scalable integrations with 3rd party technology partners.
- Support the Software Development Director to create a high performing development team.
Experience and Qualifications
- 3rd level qualification in a computer-related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a C# software development role
- Minimum 1 year within a cloud services development environment
Tech Experience:
- Core: Cloud Services, Visual Studio, C# .NET Core framework, No SQL DBs, GIT
- Agile/Cloud: Jira, Confluence, CI/CD practices, AWS services(or equivalent)
- Desirable: Containers (Kubernetes), Docker, Message Queue Services
