Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional to join a fast-growing, and uniquely innovative security technology company. They are establishing a new operation in the West of Ireland in order to grow and service the EU market.
The company delivers the market’s only patented Threat Intelligence Gateway platform to customers via a comprehensive intelligence-led cyber service. Their intelligence-driven security solutions provide superior protection from 99% of all known threats and they constantly monitor and analyze emerging and zero-day threats.
Your goal will be to establish the new operation and drive revenue growth in a region or vertical market, generating new business opportunities and establishing high-value sales engagements.
THE ROLE:
- Focus on generating new business (hunting) and creating sales pipeline activity
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Lead and develop security sales opportunities
- Tell compelling stories and position emerging technologies.
- Manage and achieve an annual sales quota
- Work with technical staff and other colleagues to meet customer needs
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client briefings
- Work with the team to develop proposals for the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
- Use CRM and pipeline tools for all relationship activity tracking
- Present a compelling business case at all levels in the customer hierarchy
- Build strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives, including CXO level
- Develop a sales plan that is based on the pipeline opportunities
- Understand and navigate customer procurement preferences
- Provide business reviews to the management team highlighting attainment progress and challenges to closing business
- Build excellent relationships with customers willing to be a reference in person or print.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of networking and cyber security technologies of related software solutions
- A proven track record in consultative selling and incremental revenue growth
- 5+ years of technology sales experience
- Self-motivated with a persistent desire to deliver the quota
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/execute corresponding objectives
- Strong verbal and written communications, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
