Security & DevOps Manager

Responsibilities

● Work on infrastructure components, subsystems, parts of the network and are proactive in improving the technology, scalability, security, and evolution of the infrastructure that powers the web components, customer-facing components of the SaaS platform.

● Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.

● Troubleshooting Infra, Network, and Security issues.

● Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.

● Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.

● Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.

● Incidence management and root cause analysis.

● Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.

● Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.

● Stay current with the latest ecosystem evolution, technology ideas, and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key decision-makers.

● Hiring, mentoring, and retaining a very talented team.

 

 Requirements

● 8-12 years of strong experience in product development.

● Experience working on Linux based infrastructure, big data ecosystem like HDFS, Cassandra, Spark, Airflow etc

 ● Solid working knowledge and experience in Linux and scripting languages

● Excellent understanding of Python and Shell scripting

 ● Good understanding of setting up of VPC, subnets, VPC tunneling, IAM role access management. ● Exposure to EC2, EMR, load balancer (ELB and ALB, elastic bean stack), cloud watch metrics, SQS, SNS, lambda functions, kinesis, redshift, s3, glacier etc

 ● Enjoy setting up and managing CI CD tools like Jenkins, argocd, workflow tools like Airflow, logging, and monitoring tools like ELK, Splunk, grafana and Prometheus.

● Deep working knowledge of Linux servers and networked environments Thorough understanding of distributed systems and the protocols they use, including TCP/IP, RESTful APIs, SQL, NoSQL. ● Experience in managing a NoSQL database (Cassandra) and big data components like HDFS, Kafka, Airflow, Spark, etc is a huge plus.

● Strong understanding of non-functional requirements like security, test automation, etc

● Exposure to Agile development methodologies

● Ability to collaborate across teams and strong interpersonal skills

 ● Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in handling Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing assignments for Web Application, APIs, Thin Client, - Thick Client, Server, Network Devices etc.

● Knowledge of Security testing methodology, standards, guidelines, security controls, and Checklists such as OWASP, CWE, CERT C, CIS, OSSTMM, PTES, SANS, and other international industry recognised standards and guidelines

● Aware of general cyber security practices needed by computer and internet user

● SAAS experience is a plus
