Their managed service operationalizes billions of threat indicators in real-time to prevent over 90% of known threats against enterprise networks. Reducing their customer's cybersecurity risks and enabling their security operations to be more proactive, focused, and efficient.
The successful candidate should be an independent, solution-oriented individual who is skilled in networking concepts to convert high-level directives into high-value actions under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and deploy network technologies: routers, switches, security stack tools
- Troubleshoot and maintain implementation of network solutions
- Assist in the administration of Linux and Windows-based systems
- Deploy security appliances in customer networks
- Understand customer network topology at ingress and egress points, develop Visio network diagrams of customer networks, and assist in evaluating network flows
Requirements:
- Ideally, 5 years of relevant experience with a degree in IT/Networking is preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; good judgment, problem-solving, and resolution skills, especially with routers and switches
- Knowledge of switched architecture to include creating VLANs, managing VTP domains, spanning tree, DHCP spoofing, ARP spoofing, and port security
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the technologies within the security stack
- CCNA certification is preferred, other network certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of Wireshark fundamentals
- Comfortable working directly with customers
- Participate in occasional on-call rotation
- Willingness to travel up to client sites.
