Ideal opportunity for a seasoned support engineer to join one of the longest established technology companies in the West of Ireland that provides complete professional IT Services and IT Support Services for small, medium-sized and large companies.
Your role will involve providing Hardware and Software support to customers in the West of Ireland.
Based in Galway city you will configure hardware and software products, both in-house and on-site which will involve the installation and system administration of Microsoft Servers and networks, email, printing, broadband/routers, security, firewalls, Anti-Virus, VPNs, Data Backup, Active Directory.
On-going support will involve the provision of Technical Services via telephone, remote access, email and onsite, to ensure service level agreements are maintained.
The ideal candidate for this role should be able to demonstrate;
- At least 3 years experience in a technical support role.
- Microsoft certification is a distinct advantage.
- Server and Network administration experience.
- Firewall and Security Management.
- Full clean drivers licence as you may be required to travel to client sites from time to time.
