Snr .NET Developer to join expanding technology team of Global Payment company, write quality and bug-free coding using C#, ASP.net, windows services. The team also focusses on handling technology enhancements and developments to bespoke applications for a large number of internal clients.
What you will do
- Work on new projects and change requests and fix issues that are in the current application
- Work autonomously in Agile teams and advise on solutions
- Produce documentation on projects delivered for audit and compliance purposes
- Debug existing code and find solutions within SLA time frames
- Develop applications that communicate with scanners and printers to scan images and upload to cloud
Who you are
- Someone with a proven track record of writing bug free code using .NET in web/ Windows forms using C#, windows services, MVC and Angular JS
- Comfortable with using Azure cloud technologies and migration of in-house systems to cloud Azure
- You are a champion when it comes to working with structured systems development environment
- As a trusted member of the team, you will also be a support on 2nd and 3rd line application support when required
What you will need to bring to Planet
- 5 years+ of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript (Angular framework)
- Ability to apply both cloud and OO design patterns to your deliverables.
- Knowledgeable in .Net Frameworks 2.0 and 4.5/4.6, Entity Framework, WCF experience
- Good SQL knowledge with experience in writing T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of SSRS and reporting mechanisms
- Good knowledge of web services, API interaction, REST principles, and practice
- Strong understanding of Object Orientated Analysis and Design principles
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Angular
- Experience with Source Control Tools, Automated build, TFS, Git, Jira
- Agile development experience (SCRUM) with the ability to manage in sprint tasks
- Security awareness and detailed knowledge of OWASP, CORS
- Ability to engage directly with the customer through support
