Based in Galway city, as the successful candidate, you would be joining a global team responsible for new innovation and development of the company's product offering.
As the Senior Architect, you would be focused on building solutions that maximise the use of emerging technologies and acting as a trusted advisor with particular responsibility for cloud architecture and artificial intelligence ( AI ). You would provide the technical guidance for issues relating to elastic scale, cloud multi-tenancy, DevOps, performance, and availability.
You would also drive the requirements for the tools and processes for a range of AI services (in-house and 3rd party) that are consumed by the suite of enterprise products the company offer.
This wide-ranging role will see you working with product managers, sales, end customers and developers. You'll utilise your experience and interest in emerging technologies to help the software teams in adopting new concepts and solutions to improve product offerings (e.g. AI, IoT, BlockChain, Microservices, DevOps)
Suitable candidates would need to demonstrate a track record in cloud software development and Architecture with the ability to articulate how products you have worked on in the past achieved elastic scale, independent deployability and bounded context.
You'll need significant experience in a DevOps environment with exposure to Big Data technologies (Casandra, Spark) AI and ML tools.
