Great chance for a Senior Software Engineer to work on a creative web application solution deployed on AWS, and complemented by apps on Android mobile devices,
You will join a product development team in Galway where you will be problem-solving and taking the initiative to enhance and expand the product capabilities. You will be given the scope to self-manage your projects and lead others along your path.
· Producing state of the art technical designs, software, test, and document assets
· Evaluating technologies and innovating on product architecture
· Being the evangelist for good agile development practices – code reviews, automated test, CI/CD
· Working closely with the expanded technology team to deliver and support a best in class service
What we would love to see from you:
- 5+ years of experience full-stack development in web and/or mobile applications
- Commercial experience in Database Schema Design
- Good knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Angular JS
- Great object-oriented skills and knowledge of design patterns
- Experience in an agile development environment with TDD, continuous integration and continuous delivery, using tools such as Cucumber, Git, Jenkins, and Docker
- A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
