Our client is an established software firm  with existing clients across Defence, Government, financial services, healthcare and education sectors.

They have identified a gap in the market where a sophisticated SaaS platform could implement best practices to help clients achieve their  objectives.

The proposed platform will be a game changer for the industry!

The premise and formative components of this SaaS have been validated across the existing client base and it's now time to establish a dedicated software development facility in Galway to produce and market the platform globally.  The objective will be to have  an MVP released within 3-6 months with development rapidly increasing as you hire and grow out the development team.

You will be given technical freedom to architect the SaaS using elements you deem appropriate, putting in place processes that maximise efficiency and reliability of the development machine you have created. You will also be responsible for growing out the development team which you will ultimately manage.

You will have almost limitless freedom in how you achieve development goals, as you take customer requirements and define the product road map, delivering through continuous development and growth of the team.

 

 

 

Here's what you need to bring to the table:

  • 7+ years software development experience (ideally web applications)
  • 3+ years as a team lead, scrum master, or similar
  • MVC JavaScript Frameworks, such as Angular (or Angular.js), React, Node.js (TypeScript experience ideal)
  • RESTful APIs, Webservices
  • Relational and unstructured databases
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of developers
  • SDLC process automation (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and operations, infrastructure as code, etc)
  • Software Craftsmanship such as TDD, design patterns, code reviews and clean coding
