Opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager with a leading digital agency providing bespoke website design, Technology, solutions, and dynamic marketing strategies to Luxury Hotel Brands worldwide. The company works strategically with the hotel understanding their ambition and we collaborate with them to maximize their direct booking strategy. The unique difference is the combined optimization of Strategic Planning, Technology, and Service across the complete customer journey that powerfully boost results. Based on the scenic west coast of Ireland, the organisation  headquarters are in Galway, with an additional sales presence in London and a creative development team in Tenerife.
The Role

Job Overview:

As our Sales Manager, your drive and expertise will spearhead our domestic and international sales initiatives. Specialising in selling bespoke websites, cutting-edge software, and comprehensive digital marketing services within the luxury hotel sector, we seek a charismatic sales leader to propel our sales and broaden our domestic and international footprint. You will craft and implement strategic sales plans, foster key client relationships, generate robust leads, and amplify our market share through successful business acquisitions.

The role will involve:

1.    Manage Outbound and Network Sales Channels:
•    Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to attract leads, drive traffic, and generate new business opportunities.
•    Work closely with Digital Marketing to grow inbound leads collaborating on content creation, SEO, social media marketing, and email campaigns to ensure messaging will capture the interest of potential customers and align closely with the sales message.
•    Develop and implement outbound sales initiatives including managing outbound external partners, email outreach, and direct communication to target high-potential leads and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
•    Leverage professional networks, industry connections, and partnerships to establish new business relationships and expand the company's reach within the hospitality industry.
•    Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment and synergy in sales strategies and objectives.

2.    Craft Compelling Sales Pitches and Presentations:
•    Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations and digital & printed materials that highlight the simplicity and problem-solving capabilities of the company's product suite.
•    Partner with the inbound digital marketing team and external lead generation agencies to optimize lead generation efforts and meet sales targets effectively.
•    Actively engage with prospective clients through various communication channels including cold calls, emails, and direct outreach to drive sales opportunities and revenue growth.

3.    Negotiate and Close Deals:
•    Negotiate and finalize agreements with new luxury hotel clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and sustainable business relationships.
•    Manage the entire customer journey from initial contact to successful onboarding, providing support and guidance as needed to facilitate a smooth transition.
4.    Monitor Performance and Propose Enhancements:
•    Analyse performance metrics across all sales channels to identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to optimize results.
•    Keep Sales software up to date and deliver regular reports and updates for leadership team. 
•    Stay informed about emerging market trends and customer opportunities, conducting research to identify new leads and potential areas for expansion.

5.    Collaborate and Coordinate Across Teams:
•    Coordinate with internal teams such as Digital Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Account Management to align offerings with client expectations and ensure a seamless customer experience.
•    Foster productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders in customer accounts, maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns or issues proactively.

By effectively managing these key areas, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and achieving Aró’s sales goals.

Essential Skills:

•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of business development experience.
•    Proven record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and analysing sales performance metrics.
•    Exceptional negotiation skills, commitment to outstanding customer service, and strong understanding of inbound and outbound sales strategies.
•    Effective communication, team management capabilities, and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
•    Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
•    Initiative-taking and results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•    Willingness to travel, as necessary.
•    Strong experience working with the hotel technology industry.
