Working within the Operations Solutions team of this global high tech company that delivers software applications used throughout the manufacturing organization. These solutions are deployed across global sites and at suppliers and contract manufacturer production sites and cover all product lines and various aspects of the production processes.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement industrial solutions leveraging the Operations Solutions platform.
- Handle the full development/validation/documentation cycles.
- Identify solutions contributing to overall manufacturing process improvements.
- Migrate legacy tools and processes under standardized platforms
- Maintain security standards for the site and products.
- Interact with the local IT team to set up the proper infrastructure.
- Comply with department overarching architecture and processes guidelines.
- Provide level 2 support to the local manufacturing team.
What we like to see:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Circa 3 years’ experience with software and solution developments, ideally used in industrial applications
- Experience with C#, .Net, ASP.NET, HTML, JSON, XML, etc. Microsoft Visual Studio, Mercurial, Jira/Confluence.
- Experience in applied cryptography and key management, knowledge of RFID industry standards is a distinct advantage
