Unique opportunity for you to join a fast-growing Cyber Security company that has patented its threat intelligence system and provides its services to enterprises worldwide.
They have recently established an operation in Ireland and are poised for massive growth in 2023.
Essentially you will be tasked with pulling apart and breaking everything and then working closely with engineers to improve the operational efficiency and quality of the security solution they offer. As such the role will offer you a large amount of very technical challenges and you will develop, execute and report on the test plans to overcome these challenges.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
- Design and automate test cases and behavior-driven development scenarios based on acceptance criteria
- Develop and execute automated test plans to break everything, identify defects, and work with engineers to resolve them.
- Test across Front end / UI, database, REST APIs or other webservices (performance, regression & smoke testing)
- Work across teams to provide testing method and QA advice.
- Keep solutions up to date with the latest technologies and work with peers to develop best-in-class testing strategies.
- Document and deliver test reports that provide meaningful metrics to drive business / product strategy
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Given the complexities of delivering a world class cyber-security solution, you should enjoy the challenges of a highly technical environment. To have great success in this role we believe you will need strong experience in the following areas;
- LINUX (shell command and scripting)
- JAVA, Selenium WebDriver, and Python
- TCP/IP protocols L2-L7 (e,g, Ethernet, 802.1p/q, MPLS, NTP SSL/TLS, DNS etc.)
- Testing network equipment (e.g. switches, routers, gateways, and firewalls)
- Automating public cloud test solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure, Lambda)
- Developing test automation Frameworks
- Test management tools like Jira, TestRail etc.
- Creative confidence to try and break everything and then present ideas and strategies to solve and fix everything!
The role can be offered remotely within Ireland and an attractive package will be on offer to reflect the very technical nature of the position.
