Right now they require Software Engineering Managers
YOUR ROLE
- Manage a team of engineers developing readable, well-tested applications, APIs, and libraries
- Develop and maintain a strong engineering culture within the team, in both technical and social components
- Ensure the delivery of technology initiatives through design to iterative development phases
- Establish clear requirements for engineering projects in coordination with a Product Manager
- Evaluate engineering design proposals in a technical capacity
- Evaluate and develop the technical performance of individual contributors
- Guide engineers through their career progression and personal growth
- Mentor junior engineers
- Uphold engineering standards in terms of software and systems quality and performance
YOUR BACKGROUND
- 5+ years of direct people management experience is essential
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with cloud-based systems
- Broad experience developing high-throughput backend systems, at the infrastructure and software levels
- Keen interest in software architecture and design concepts
YOUR TEAMS TECH STACK
- Go, Python, or Java
- ScyllaDB, Cassandra, NoSQL databases
- Amazon AWS services
