What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a globally distributed team of top-notch technical sales engineers.
  • Continuously develop the team, scout for future talent, and recruit best-in-class technical sales experts.
  • Drive initiatives that propel the company’s global strategies forward.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, working closely with the Sales team to ensure successful onboarding outcomes.
  • Develop and implement technical documentation and training materials for both customers and internal teams.
  • Partner equally with the sales team, providing technical guidance and support during customer meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to provide feedback on product features and functionality.
  • Define and document processes and KPIs to ensure successful outcomes for the function and the business.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, offering guidance on their potential impact on company's solutions.
  • Advocate for your team’s work in company-wide forums.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Background in technical engineering or product support, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience driving transformational change within a scaling environment.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful technical solutions for customers.
  • Excellent process skills and deep knowledge of the process crossover between Sales and customer onboarding.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering.
  • Strong technical generalist skills, particularly across SaaS applications, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity. Software development and architecture appreciation are a plus.
  • Passion for process excellence and driving outstanding customer results, with a focus on metrics.

An excellent salary and package is available for the successful candidate.  The role is office based in Galway, 3 days a week.
