Our client is an international company who have their European Technology Hub in Galway. As a Technical Recruiter within the company you will partner with the People Team, hiring managers and business leaders to understand business needs, facilitate full lifecycle recruitment activities and drive the hiring strategy for the organisation. You will take responsibility for creating best-in-class recruiting strategies and processes for the Technology, Product and Data Science teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire top software engineering, product and data science talent. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand the required candidate profile and own all aspects of the full-cycle recruiting process: defining jobs and specs, sourcing, screening, running the recruiting process, negotiating and closing.
  • Demonstrate exceptional sourcing strategies and techniques to find top talent.
  • Identify, pre-screen and evaluate passive and active candidates.
  • Create and drive effective interview panel meetings and debriefs alongside hiring managers and business partners.   
  • Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process and throughout the process. 
  • Drive offer process, including offer approvals, extensions, negotiations and closings.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects including but not limited to events, student/intern placements and drives, technology platform testing and integration.. 
  • Apply your understanding of recruitment metrics and analysis to improve our process, performance and experience for example;  time to fill, cost per hire, demographics. 
  • Commit to your continued professional development by upskilling on our ATS platform, Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter, and engaging with L&D initiatives. 
  • Maintain a high level of industry awareness, understanding the startup, tech, and fashion/retail landscape to keep tabs on emerging and transitioning businesses, industry news and competitive analysis. 

Requirements:

  • You have demonstrated experience with in-house full cycle technical recruiting and a track record of scaling high performing teams in a technology based environment. 
  • Demonstrated success implementing innovative ways to attract and retain candidates.
  • You take a consultative approach and are successful in developing productive business partner relationships at all levels across the organisation. 
  • You are solutions-driven and identify opportunities for improvement and proactively drive towards a solution. 
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • You can juggle multiple open requisitions, prioritising recruiting activities accordingly. 
  • You can effectively multi-task and maintain a high level of internal business partner and candidate satisfaction.
