Our client, a leading global IT organisation, is expanding rapidly and needs an experienced IT Recruiter to support large-scale hiring across software engineering, AI, data, and product functions. This is a contract role based in Galway, with hybrid working available.
About the Role
You’ll join a high-performing internal recruitment team working on volume technical hiring in the West of Ireland. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll have real impact on shaping teams at the forefront of technology and innovation.
What You’ll Do

Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical roles at scale — from engineers to product and AI specialists

Partner with hiring managers and HR to forecast hiring needs and prioritise pipelines

Use ATS systems and talent platforms to track, shortlist, and report on recruitment activity

Build strong candidate networks through proactive sourcing, campaigns, and referrals

Drive process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and candidate experience

Maintain accurate data and reporting metrics for all active roles
What You’ll Bring

5+ years’ experience as a specialist IT recruiter (agency or in-house)

Proven background in high-volume technical recruitment

Solid understanding of roles across software, data, AI, and product domains

Strong ATS and sourcing tool knowledge

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills

Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail
