Want to shape the quality of next-generation medical device software?

Our client, a growing digital health company, is hiring a Senior Software QA Engineer to help build safe, reliable, regulated software used in a real clinical environment. You’ll take ownership of QA strategy across cloud, embedded, and event-driven systems, while helping the team strengthen automation, test coverage, and regulatory readiness.

What you’ll do

Design and own the QA strategy across unit, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Build and maintain automated test suites, with a strong focus on Playwright.

Test cloud-based, microservices, API, backend, and embedded software components.

Develop risk-based testing aligned with IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.

Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and test artefacts.

Embed QA into agile delivery, design reviews, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Support regulatory documentation for FDA, CE/MDR, and audit readiness.

Track quality metrics, defect trends, and test coverage to drive continuous improvement.

Mentor others and promote a strong shift-left testing culture.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have strong software QA experience in a regulated environment, ideally medical device, digital health, healthcare, or another safety-critical sector.

You should bring hands-on automation experience, especially with Playwright, plus exposure to tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, k6, Gatling, or Locust.

You’ll be comfortable testing APIs, backend services, microservices, SaaS platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based systems, ideally on Google Cloud.

Experience with GitLab CI, Agile/Scrum, GitLab workflows, QMS processes, CAPA, document control, and audit preparation would be highly valuable.

Knowledge of IEC 62304ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU MDR, or similar frameworks would be a strong advantage.

Exposure to VueJS, Zoho tools, AI-assisted QA, Claude Code, or intelligent test generation would be a bonus.

Why this role is worth a look

This is a chance to join a company building meaningful medical technology, where QA is not a box-ticking exercise. You’ll have real influence over testing strategy, automation standards, quality processes, and how software gets safely delivered.

You’ll work with a collaborative engineering team, broaden your experience across regulated software, cloud, embedded systems, automation, and AI-assisted QA, and play a key role in building products that can genuinely improve patient outcomes.
